$aaoi no idea why anyone would want to be short. If they execute, this could be a $40B+ market cap company like $LITE based on basic comps. Will AAOI execute? Who knows, but if they do it could 5x+ from here. I am long a bit t.co/96KoHqelZs

The low is in on $AAOI because I sold today. Why? Took a nasty spill in the portfolio last week. -16% from Tuesday close to Thursday close. Up 100%+ YTD across all of my accounts (taxable, Ira 401k). Managing risk. Don’t want to give it back. With respect to $aaoi, I thought the market was going to be so euphoric on pluggables growth that the market would not be asking what comes next. That was wrong. Am I super confident in $AAOI post pluggables? No lol. Entered in the $80s, added more in the 150-180 area. Stock did not bounce hard this morning. Vibe gave me the ick. Locked in a loss like a loser AAOI has the characteristic I try to look for with respect to low starting valuation and accelerating fundamentals, what was missing here for me was the longer term durability Bottom is in now
