Woke up to BTC’s wrath today and the poor cat in my futures bag seems to not be popping, its beaten up. Popcat SL closed below, yes. Two options; 1) The trade didn't work, SL at 0.69 you close it as per setup I shared 2) Wait for the daily close (I am doing this) and add a small DCA to better avg entry so any relief into the day and we close much closer to entry. There is no right answer. From a books perspective, this trade failed. I'm trying to see if I can catch any bounce at all. So depending on your risk, pls choose the option that fits you. Hype is ok where it is, its getting a good amount of spot buys + volume (ppl are buying the dip) and even Hyperliquid assistance fund deployed capital yest to buy into that sell. So I am holding Hype as of now, added a DCA as well. This is all a part of playing the 'trading game' — You take 20 trades, you lose 5 trades. It happens and this is a win rate bigger perps traders be proud of. Keep the head calm and we will have more opportunities to potentially long a couple of bounces even. Gambling on a HYPE long here. Lowest daily close in the last few weeks has been $20 and that price has been defended plenty. So the reason for this trade is easy invalidation which is a daily candle closing below $19.5 (-8% loss) while the upside is a nice bounce to high $27+(edited)

Got filled on the Sol stink bid at $169.75. Added a Hype long at $40 and riding the existing Pump long/spot from $0.00255. I will watch the daily candle closely today to take further action or not on these positions. Ideally we want to close above $116k at any cost.(edited)

UPDATE; Okay, we got a bounce finally on the LTF. Cutting my HYPE and BTC longs here. Hype -2.2% and BTC -1.2% from our avg entries. Lucky exit considering last night's dip. Primarily I am reducing my exposure to longs by a lot in this dead cat because BTC now needs to reclaim some key levels above, and it might happen today or a week from now but until then risk off on lev. Not closing Sol long just yet and its currently at -3.7% from our avg entry — this is my only long now. Not touching the SPX and PUMP spot bags. Bought spot SOL close to $160 as well.(edited)

I can draw 10 new lines in the BTC chart and pretend to have things figured out but the reality when the zones you expect to hold get taken out is well worded by him. At this point, you don't know what's what, however you will know whenever a breakout happens from this downtrend into a potential relief. Gm, mostly afk market since there is nothing interesting in the chop. However, today I started buying Hype spot. Think $26.5-$28.5 is a great zone for long term add if you are looking to nibble. You know my thesis surrounding protocols that generate revenue in the bear. Tokens like Hype, Lit, Pump, Met etc will continue to have the best chance of reversal in structures whenever you see liquidity come in, and positioning for that will be a better move imo than just adding Eth/Sol. I've started with 10k Hype today, and will add 5k to every $1 drop if the market gives, I don't think I can go wrong too wrong with the Btc-Hype-Lit-Pump barbel in the long run. Markets more interesting if we either convincingly close above $80k or drop below $60k with both having different objectives. Hope you guys are doing well otherwise I am building something on the side, will share when it gets shape @discordping

Hype scratchpad; I think Hype will eventually go above XRP below BNB. that's a 2.5x from here. When it quickly went to $70+ without taking time to consolidate, it was overextended but now with this $50-$55 consolidation, it sets up a good stage for next leg. I started buying here, over next two weeks as well. Gotta look into what Itai said "pair trades are too valuable against it atm imo"

Hype is currently above our entry but lagging for all purposes. I still don't see enough strength in any of these moves of BTC. It was indeed good that we closed our shorts (Eth at BE and BTC at +4%) before this CPI print, but I think I need to be more selective of high momentum alts to scalp here than to be caught pants down on generic top10s. Closing Hype long here at like almost BE (I am +1.5% here but this could vary depending on your DCA)

Some Twap out here causing this dump, can wait ideally but I went for a long here half the margin, set up a limit order for remaining 30% at $59.5 and 20% for $58 as well. These sort of twaps usually provide good long scalps, let's see.

Hype update. The first 30% margin limit order at $59.5 is now hit, as expected there was an order there. 20% remaining at $58 as well. I'm just going to hold this long no change in plan atm, I see a bunch of good traders closing longs (hgih leverage positions) Ironically that's not bad for us. I'll wait it out.

Started to add big chunks of HYPE spot between this $45-$55 zone. I'd like to keep adding over these next few weeks if the market gives it, and move a % of my stables into Hype at least 15-20%. Imo it is not if but when Hype will cross the $100 mark and I don't care if its next month or next year, at this points its more like how we've stacked sats over the last couple years. The positioning is clear in my mind. We don't take anything less than a 2x on this trade.
