Big move higher. The 980 target for MU and 260 target for MRVL mentioned above were based on large bullish options trades seen late in the session two days ago. QQQ also did in fact bottom around 709. Too easy. The CPO names in the portfolio, such as LITE, are absolutely ripping. Those who were too afraid to buy semiconductors at the highs and are still buying crypto and gold really are idiots. With NVIDIA’s earnings coming in strong, CPO was obviously the first group to be bullish on, followed by semiconductors. The GLW position mentioned here was screened based on IV. Anyone who understands IV can take a look and will know why it was bought. Ahead of NVIDIA’s earnings, IV, unusual options activity, and Gamma were also used to roughly gauge the direction of the move. At the same time, crypto and gold are indeed pulling back as expected, as mentioned before, while U.S. tech stocks are surging. All in all, a complete victory. The overall plan remains largely unchanged. Some TSLA may be added today. Perhaps it is better to wait for CPO and semiconductors to run a bit further before rotating into the MAG7. Fun fact: TSLA has historically rallied significantly in Q4 every year. TRUMP, which was called earlier, also rallied to 3.6. Unfortunately, the momentum was hit by the Binance black swan event, which dragged TRUMP down. It later rallied to $3, only to get dragged down again by another BTC downside wick. In this situation, the only option is to buy altcoins with actual revenue and value. The earlier call on the stock market bottom, along with the bullish view on cloud companies and gold, was never posted here. The upside and conviction were even greater, which makes it even more satisfying, just without posting it here. Time to think carefully about what to buy next

Fully out of U.S. tech stocks for now. Kept a few biotech and consumer names that are still trading at relatively low levels to sit on as longer term setups, names like ZTS and LULU. Yesterday, followed the plan and trimmed semis premarket. After seeing semis sell off hard at the open, everything was closed and rotated into TSLA and a few software names. TSLA and the software names also moved higher. Just now, SPX hit the major call wall and suddenly saw heavy put flow coming in. This is very clear from real time options delta, with a sudden large negative bar. Gamma, or GEX, is used to identify resistance levels, while delta, or DEX, is used to track real time options net flow and divergences. There were also large dark pool prints. ES and NQ showed the same thing on the heatmap, with a large resting order getting completely consumed. This is exactly the kind of area where a reversal can happen. With multiple signals showing up at the same time, exposure was reduced again. Since I also trade ES and NQ intraday, I took short positions in both Then there was no need to listen to Warsh speak. Just watch the 10Y Treasury yield. When it suddenly spiked higher, that was enough to know Warsh was speaking hawkishly, so everything was closed. For next week, the plan for now is to watch for the right opportunity to buy the dip in gold. There will definitely be another major selloff in September or October before the midterms. U.S. tech stocks also have very few positive catalysts left going forward. That should be the time to buy the dip in U.S. tech again. Going forward, while continuing to trade ES and NQ intraday, crypto will probably need to be traded much more actively as well

Today’s FOMC meeting should either leave rates unchanged or hike but remain dovish, and equities should continue higher after FOMC. NQ and ES have had a lot of bullish iceberg orders since premarket. Just before the open, I saw a 1,000 lot bullish iceberg on ES and a 200+ lot bullish iceberg on NQ. I went long NQ premarket following that large bullish iceberg, and it’s already sitting on a decent unrealized profit lol. The SPX 0DTE options structure also looks good, so the overall setup points to a bullish FOMC reaction today. VIX is also not high, so even if there is a rate hike, the impact should be limited. Charm is especially important for the options market today. I checked SPX 0DTE Charm and Delta, and both are showing buying pressure. I have previously used the method of observing very large iceberg orders to anticipate some news events. Let’s see if this read is accurate this time. Based on my read, I expect no rate hike, or a rate hike with a dovish tone, followed by equities rallying. Then, after a few days, the market may not accept the no hike outcome and view the Fed as having lost credibility, causing long duration Treasury yields to rise and equities to sell off. Why would the market view a rate hike as dovish? Because the market is currently close to pricing in three rate hikes. As long as the Fed does not hike consecutively, the market will view it as dovish. In other words, as long as Warsh hikes but takes the measures that JPMorgan outlined as having no impact on the market, the market will view it as dovish. Also, a rate hike won’t solve high oil prices, so it wouldn’t be effective anyway. Based on the same reasoning, gold still looks underbought today. QQQ has already front run the move significantly. So besides continuing to hold those semiconductor and optical stocks, I also bought gold. In any case, I’m not selling the MU, INTC, BE, LITE and other stocks I bought earlier. Only MU has fallen back to my cost basis for this swing trade, while the others are still above it, so that’s actually fine. I also bought gold.

Here Wednesday premarket, I also took some profits on part of my US stock positions. Mainly because at the open, I saw the 2Y Treasury yield hit a new high, so I immediately took some profits. The 2s10s may be heading toward inversion. If there is no meaningful positive news from the Chinese President’s visit to the US on Thursday, we could see a sharp pullback.

Just finished buying the dip. I’m out of cash now. I kept the last bit of cash aside in case MSTR gets removed from the index tomorrow. I mainly used NQ to guide my dip buying because there’s too much data to track for individual stocks. I focused on key NQ levels, value areas, VWAP and key options levels. When NQ reached those levels, I checked QQQ dark pool levels and the heatmap showing NQ iceberg orders. Bought BTC, NEAR, ZEC, MU, SNDK, MRVL, LITE, SOXL and others. Basically, I bought everything across semiconductors and optics. See you at the massive rebound

Google's earnings double-missed, so I closed my existing longs.😂 Let me take a shot at shorting SOXL.
